HIGH TEMPERATURE DRYING PROPERTIES OF LODGEPOLE PINE STUDS


Lodgepole pine is one of the more widely distributed softwood species of western United States and Canada.
During the past twentyfive years its utilization has increased greatly, and this species is now being used principally for construction, interior paneling, exterior trim, posts, poles, and railroad ties. Lodgepole pine is the second most important species in Colorado and represents one-fourth of the timber volume cut in Colorado.
