Executive Summary
This report provides an in-depth analysis of the Advert-co case study (case study two) and as a result, uncovers and evaluates the organisational behaviour issues and theories that are evident throughout it, and why they are present. The methods of analysis include drawing upon a series of organisational behaviour theories that contributed to the organisational behaviour issues that are apparent within the case study . Additionally , general research has been utilised to provide further information and recommendations on the matter .
The results of the analysis found that due to the overall variation in the workplace culture, and lack of management and communication, the three employees adapted and reacted to their new positions in both negative and positive manners. Based on this outcome, it was determined that there were several possible areas for improvement within the workplace, which resulted in a number of recommendations. These recommendations include applying control systems, initiating staff surveys, and introducing autonomy based reward schemes as a way of improving staff motivation, communication and performance at Advert-co.
