EBOOK - Electricity and Magnetism 1e (P.F. Kelly)

EBOOK - Điện và từ tính 1e - Tác giả: P.F. Kelly (417 Trang).

My original motivation for writing this series of books, E lements of Mechanics , Properties of Materials, and Electricity and Magnetism, was to provide students attending my classes with advance copies of notes for each lecture. Successive accretions of explanatory material [much of it generated in response to student questions] transformed this project into something more substantial, which could be read as
- A sole source for a sequence of intro ductory physics classes
- A student supplement to a standard textbook
- A review in preparation for graduate/professional/comprehensive examinations
The provenance of these volumes as notes for lecture is manifest throughout in style and content. Physics is, in this telling, an engaging endeavour rather than a spectator sport. Also, attempts are made to ensure that the reasons for studying physics:
LEARN to acquire knowledge ab out nature,
CONTROL to exercise dominion over nature,
CREATE to exp erience the joys of invention and artistry,
