Matlab/Simulink là công cụ mô phỏng quen thuộc với các nhà phát triển, nghiên cứu trong công nghiệp cũng như các cơ sở nghiên cứu. Tuy nhiên, việc sử dụng Matlab/Simulink  để mô phỏng hệ thống điều khiển điện tử công suất gặp một số  điểm bất lợi. Hệ thống cần mô phỏng phải được diễn đạt dưới dạng các phương trình vi tích phân. Abstract

Matlab/Simulink is a veryfamilliar simulation program with developer or researcher in industryor academia. However, using Matlab/Simulink to simulate a power electronic control systemmeets with some disadvantage. The systemhave to be represented in differential and intergral equations.
This process take a lot of time and is prone to errors. PLECS is a powerful toolbox that enhances Simulink with capability to simulate electrical circuits directly. A circuit is represented as a schematic of electrical components. The control algorithmshould be built from non-electrical in Simulink and applied to the model. The paper is in order to introduce this interesting simulation toolbox.
